“I’ve practiced English with Sevak namely because I wanted to improve my speaking skills as I was going to participate in an EVS (European Voluntary Service) exchange project.
“Sevak was carefully picking great material so that I could enrich my scientific vocabulary (that’s what was needed). Our lessons were happening in a very informal atmosphere, without any strain or stress. I remember that we’ve even watched the video of the university where my EVS project was to take place. The students were describing the life of the university in that video.
“We even had some musical pauses, and thus I was able to enrich my musical vocabulary a little, I, in turn, was explaining some concepts from biology to him LOL
“As a teacher Sevak never stressed me; he never gave me stupid assignments or homework. Those few months helped me a lot, because the lab in Germany -where I was going to do my research – was very multinational, and we mostly communicated in English.”
